Supporting the Ukraine
This work was made for – and accepted into the 10th International Mini Textile Art Exhibition "Scythia" 2021 held at Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Art Museum in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine.
As this work has travelled to the Ukraine in 2021, I feel it is only right that the proceeds go towards supporting the humanitarian emergency in the Ukraine.
In consultation with the purchaser the full purchase price less shipping costs will be donated to either the UNHCR for the Ukraine Emergency or UNESCO to support the Ukrainian Emergency Art Fund. For more information on the Scythia Exhibition or the relief programs see FAQs.

Fragile Skin II
Artist Statement
Australian soil was ancient, weathered and depleted before European settlement. Seventy percent of Australia is designated arid or semi-arid, resulting in very little productive soil for agriculture. The fragile skin of soil is a precious but often ignored commodity which commercial agriculture mined of nutrients. Regenerative agriculture focuses on improving soil health, providing hope and increased resilience to climate change.
